What is Processing?

I am immensely interested in visual arts and technology. In the process of looking for a combination of the two, I was introduced to the language on Processing Community Day.

I hope to bring art into computer science, a field that is often known for engineering purposes. There is more to this solution, and creating digital forms of art through coding is an alternative medium for artists, animators to blend art with computer science. Through Processing, I hope to create and experiment with digital art.
