I am an artist living in the twenty-first century. Growing up, I have been creating art through different traditional mediums, such as using marker, colour pencil, oil, acrylic, watercolour, conté, pastel, ink, print making and mixed media models. As I have been introduced to digital devices in my childhood, I've wondered how we can connect art with technology and intertwine it directly into our lives. As the internet becomes more prevalent in our lives, I've wanted to experiment with expressing art through a new form - digital, interactive art.

In past years, I have been exposed to Scratch, Jeroo and robotics. Through these computer science courses, I've learnt some basics in coding format, scenario-centered game design components, and operating a robot to complete tasks. These courses increased my interest for how we apply technology from thoughts to real life operations.

I attended Processing Community Day at Emma in 2019, and it introduced me to the coding language of Processing - a language to code visual representations. This event allowed me to explore how some aspects of moveable images were created, in forms similar to animations. Upon completing a course in AP Computer Science A last year, I've learnt the coding language Javascript, which is the basis for Processing. This event inspired me to experiment with creating art digitally.
